主题: The Power of Idols 偶像的力量

每个人的心里都会有一个偶像。无论是外貌出众的明星、才高八斗的学者，还是妙笔生花的作家、身强体健的运动员，都可以成为被仰慕、被模仿的偶像。偶像，代表的是一种引人积极向上的动力。因为想成为和偶像一样优秀的人，我们才会更加努力地朝着偶像的方向前进。现在很多年轻人的偶像是歌手和演员，有些人非常迷恋他们的偶像，有时甚至会做出不理智的行为。

       你的偶像是谁？你认为一个偶像应该具备什么样的品质？偶像对你的成长产生了什么样的作用？面对娱乐圈明星频频塌房、饭圈文化泛滥等现象，你作何感想？

Everyone has an idol in his or her heart. Whether it is a star with a beautiful face, a scholar with scintillating wit, a gifted writer or a strong athlete, all of them can be idols who are admired and imitated by others. Idols, represent a positive motivation that leads people to a better way. Because of the aspiration to be as excellent as idols, people will work harder to improve themselves. Nowadays most youths’ idols trend to be singers and performers. Some young people are crazy about their idols and sometimes they even do unwise acts for their idols.

Who is your idol? What qualities do you think an idol should have? What role did your idols play in your growth? Faced with the phenomenon of entertainment stars’ frequent collapse of persona and widespread fandom culture, what do you think of it?

本学期每周六同一时间都将举行英语角活动，疫情好转后周四还将举办线下英语角，感兴趣的同学请积极参加！每周六票选一位“观点王”，可获得精美小礼品一份，学期末获观点王次数最多的同学可获证书和精美礼品!
