主讲人简介：
2010年于上海交通大学获得高分子科学学士学位（导师：董常明教授）；2015年于北京大学化学获得理学博士学位（导师：陈兴教授）；2015年至2019年于美国哈佛大学从事博士后研究工作（导师：Daniel Kahne教授）；2019年12月加入南京大学化学化工学院化学生物学学科、配位化学国家重点实验室，同时加入南京大学化学和生物医药创新研究院PI，开始独立科研工作。现任中国化学会糖化学专业委员会委员，主要从事科研方向为基于糖化学生物学体系新技术、新方法的开发和糖生物学功能解析，曾在Science, PNAS, JACS等杂志发表多篇论文。

报告摘要：
Glycosylation plays pivotal roles in both eukaryotic and prokaryotic organisms. Employing new-to-nature chemistry to decipher biological functions of glycan, as well as to fulfil glycan-based therapeutic need, remains a major challenge. Our group exploited cutting-edge chemical glycobiological tools to understand the “dark matter” (glycan) of modern biology. We will present several recent studies in our research group. A spatiotemporal labeling methodology of biomolecules via light, namely Sequential Photoirradiation-Orthogonal Reporter Tagging (SPORT) will be described. Also, a chalcogen-based novel metabolic chemical reporter for label-free absolute quantification of glycans in vitro will also be mentioned briefly. Glycoproteomic analysis of cholangiocarcinoma as cancer biomarker identification and functional elucidation will be discussed. Our above-mentioned cases will pave the way for further elaboration of glycan functions in living system.
