宏辞论道，以辩会友。由哈工大校团委、外国语学院主办、哈尔滨工业大学国际交流协会（HICA）讲座部承办的哈尔滨工业大学第十二届大学生英语辩论赛即将拉开战幕。哈工大英辩组委会在此盛情邀请各位同学横刀立马，辩场争锋。
一、活动主题
哈工大第十二届大学生英语辩论赛（HITBPD）
二、活动目的
本届辩论赛的举办主要是为了活跃校园气氛，开拓学生思想，体现大学生朝气蓬勃积极向上的精神状态；同时宣传并推广英语辩论赛文化，提高同学们的英语口语表达能力和逻辑思辨能力，并最终选拔出卓越的选手代表我校参加第24届“外研社·国才杯”英语辩论赛及2022全国大学生英语辩论赛大区赛。

四、活动时间
报名与海选：3月4日-3月12日
初赛：3月18日-3月19日
决赛：3月20日

五、赛制介绍
BP赛制（详见附件）
奖项设置：
1.每场将选出一名最佳辩手（同一辩手至多获得一次）；
2.决赛将产生一组冠军队伍，一组亚军队伍和两组优秀团队。
奖励设置：
1.授予最佳辩手获奖证书（加盖公章）；
2.授予晋级决赛的队伍获奖证书（加盖公章），额外授予冠军队伍第12届哈工大校园英语辩论赛冠军奖杯；
3.冠军队伍将代表哈工大参加第24届“外研社杯”英语辩论赛华北地区地区赛，地区赛优胜晋级全国总决赛取得成绩即获得保研加分。亚军队伍将代表哈工大参加2022全国大学生英语辩论赛大区赛。

The 12nd Campus English Debate Competition of Harbin Institute of Technology is about to open. The Organizing Committee of Harbin Institute of Technology is here to extend a sincere invitation to all of you.
1.Theme of the event
The 12nd Harbin Institute of Technology campus English debating competition (HITBPD).
2.Purpose of the activity
To propaganda and promote English debating competition culture, improve and exercise students' oral English ability and logical thinking ability, selection of outstanding athletes on behalf of our school to attend the 24th "FLTRP CUP" national English debating competition and 2022 college students English debating competition regional competition.

5.The time of the activity
Application and audition phase on March 4, preliminary stage - March 18 March 19 - finals on March 20 - (such as time changes, please refer to our subsequent time announced in the notice)
6.Award setting and winning awards
One best debater will be selected for each contest (the same contestant won the best debater for many times will not be awarded the certificate twice).In the final, there will be one champion team, one runner-up team and two excellent teams.
7.Winning awards
1.Every one of the best debaters will get respectively the CNP and the international cooperation department build official seal of certificates.
2.The runner-up and the excellent team will also get the award certificate affixed with the official seal, while the champion team will also get the championship trophy of the 12nd Harbin Institute of Technology Campus English Debate Competition.
3.The champion team will represent Harbin Institute of Technology to participate in the "FLTRP Cup" English Debate Competition in North China, and the winner of the regional competition will be awarded extra points for the promotion to the national final. The runner-up team will represent HIT to participate in the regional competition of the National English Debate Competition for College Students in 2022.
